Vroon announced on Monday that VOS Stone, one of Vroon’s newbuilding subsea-support walk-to-work units, commenced operations in the Baltic Sea on April 08.
VOS Stone will deliver offshore logistic support and walk-to-work services at the Arkona Offshore Windfarm (OWF), initially supporting VBMS inter-array cabling operations.
From mid summer, she will provide similar services to E.ON, during commissioning operations at the same Windfarm.
Fitted with an Ampelmann A400 motion-compensated gangway system, a 50T active-heave-compensated crane and able to accommodate 60 client personnel, VOS Stone delivers safe and highly versatile support services to the offshore Renewable and Oil & Gas industries.
