Berge Moldoveanu was delivered to Berge Bulk on 18 May 2020. She was delivered by the Bohai shipyard in the North of China and she sails under the flag of the Isle of Man.
The vessel is the 7th NewCastleMax Bulk Carrier in Berge Bulk fleet.
The new bulk carrier is named after the Moldoveanu Peak in the Făgăraş Mountains of the Transylvanian Alps (Southern Carpathians) of Romania. At an elevation of 2,544 metres, it is the highest peak in Romania.
