FPSO Petrojarl I dry-docked at Damen Shiprepair in Rotterdam (DSR) on 16th of April 2015. The vessel moved into dry dock No8, which is 307m in length and 47m in width, for work to the hull. The FPSO Petrojarl I is expected to stay in the yard approximately one year before sailing to the South Atlantic.

The FPSO, managed by Teekay, has been at Damen Shiprepair Rotterdam since this January.

FPSO Petrojarl I for EPC upgrade in Damen Shiprepair Rotterdam

For the upgrade the Damen Shiprepair was awarded an EPC contract by Teekay Petrojarl LLC. The ship will deploy at the Atlanta field in Brazil after the upgrade completion.

In the project will be included activities in basic and specific construction and interface engineering; corrosion protection; marine and process equipment procurement; fabrication; transport and lifting operations; integration, mechanical completion, performance testing and commissioning activities.

The upgrade includes as well improvements and modifications in relation to the marine, hull and life extensions in accordance with Class, conversion of the process systems and integration.
