One of the alternative ways to attract domestic and foreign tourists, Turkey’s first submarine will be hosting visitors for a touristic trip in the southern province of Antalya as of April.

Weighing 106 tons, the submarine called Nemo has capacity to carry 48 people with 20 meters length and 6,5 meters height. The submarine has all the necessary equipment to fulfill the necessities of voyagers and staff. The submarine also contains enough oxygen masks and supplies for 48 people onboard.
It was imported by IHS Travel and Tourisfly and will meet with visitors after a remarkable opening ceremony in April.
Nemo can reach depths of up to 360 feet (110 meters) and the ship can stay submerged for more than 80 hours in a single voyage.
Each day, six tours will be organized and each of the tour will last one hour. Yunus Emre Yavuzyiğit, chairman of IHS Travel and
Touristfly, stated that they launched the project to bring a new dimension to Turkish tourism. “We will begin tours to show unexplored beauties of undersea world and domestic and foreign tourist will have a unique experience,” he said.
