Swedish Orient Line (SOL) announced last week that it has taken control of the three new modern ice class 1A super RoRo vessel, Transpulp, Transtimber and Transpaper built in 2006 and 2007. They are time chartered to Stora Enso, a leading provider of renewable solutions in packaging, biomaterials, wood and paper.

The vessels will be renamed Thuleland, Tundraland and Tavastland.

"Swedish Orient Line has acquired the disponent ownership of three vessels from Viking Supply AS", says Ragnar Johansson, Managing Director, Svenska Orient Linien AB.

"We are very happy to strengthen our fleet with the three vessels, a further prove of SOL's growing business and ambitions", says Johansson.

The growth of SOL demonstrates the agility and adaptability of SOL's strategy to constantly develop the route network and its services.

SOL is committed to continually offer a convenient, frequent and fast transport services to its customers and will further increase its level of service on existing routes.
