On July 14 2018 between midday and 1300 hours Cammell Laird will launch the RRS Sir David Attenborough polar ship (see also CruiseMapper).
“Please help us celebrate this important and historic milestone. The best public viewing points for the slipway launch, which will see 10,000 tonnes of steel hit the Mersey, are the Albert Dock and Otterspool Park on the Liverpool side of the Mersey.
Due to health & safety policies, and port security regulation, unfortunately there is no unauthorised access to the Cammell Laird site. Official passes must be shown on the day to gain entry to the ceremony.
