The Singapore-managed anchor-handling tug support (AHTS) vessel will operate as a production-support vessel, forming part of PTTEP Thailand’s core fleet.

The new contract, a direct continuation of VOS Ares’ existing charter with PTTEP, commences this month for a firm duration of three years.

“VOS Ares has performed well for PTTEP in the Bongkot field since October 2018. The extension now awarded is proof of the charterer’s satisfaction and witness to our crews’ dedication, professionalism, hard work and constant focus on safe operations.

We wish the vessel and her crews continuing success during the next phase of this charter.”

VOS Ares is a 2012-built “A-class”, 5,150 BHP DP-1 AHTS vessel. A superior bow thruster (8 MT) and stern thruster (6 MT) ensure optimal manoeuvring and station-keeping capabilities.
