Turkish general cargo vessel Erdogan Senkaya struck berthed Italian general cargo vessel Luca S at Porto Nogaro, Italy, in the morning Feb 27, while maneuvering in harbor.

Luca S forecastle starboard area was seriously damaged and breached, with ensuing water ingress.
The Italian vessel was loaded with silicon, at the time of collision preparing for offloading. As can be seen on photo, Luca S developed starboard list and fore tilt, breach seems to be of substantial proportions, but crew righted vessel by ballasting and pumping out water, on the next photo breach is already above waterline. No leak reported.

General cargo ship Erdogan Senkaya, which is in ballast, was berthed and according to reports she suffered bulbous nose damage.
