The Port of Milford Haven is expecting a busy 2017 cruise season with 5 calls and over 2000 passengers.

The first call of the year is on Tuesday 6th June when the Port’s cruise team will be extending a warm Welsh welcome to visitors aboard the Prinsendam. (The Prinsendam is a Holland America Line vessel 204m in length, last calling at Milford in 2015). The Milford Haven call is nestled between Guernsey and Liverpool as part of her north European cruise.

Expected at 9am, passengers stepping ashore at Milford Haven have the opportunity to explore Pembrokeshire with visits lined up for Caldey Island, Carew Castle, Tenby, St David’s, Pembroke Castle and the National Botanic Garden of Wales. For passengers choosing to stay in Milford, a highlight continues to be a visit to Milford Museum and a chance to soak up the vibrant atmosphere at one of the Marina’s many eateries – or indulge in a spot of retail therapy.

"Our second call of the year sees Silver Explorer calling at Pembroke Port on Saturday 10th June. Silver Explorer (a Silversea Cruises vessel of 108m length) is a regular visitor to Pembrokeshire and we look forward to welcoming her back. She will arrive at 6.30am following an overnight sail from the Isles of Scilly as part of its 11 day Anglo-Celtic Islands in Spring tour and will head for Waterford in Ireland on her departure. On arrival at Pembroke Port, passengers will have the chance to explore St Davids, the UK’s smallest city. They will also have the opportunity to explore the fascinating museum at Pembroke Dock Sunderland Trust.

We enjoy a second call of the season from the Prinsendam on Saturday 13th August as she makes her way to the polar ice cap."

Two further calls are expected at Milford Haven later in the season with the Ocean Majesty call on 16th September, and the Europa on 21st September.
