Seaspan Corporation has took delivery of its fifth Saver design containership.
The 14,000- TEU Yang Ming Wellness was constructed at Hyundai Heavy Industries Co., Ltd.
The newly delivered boxship extends the Seaspan's fleet to 83 ships.
YM Wellness will be chartered to Yang Ming Marine Transport Corp. (Yang Ming) for ten years on a fix rate. There is an option for extension of the charter with two more years.
Seaspan took delivery of the first vessel of the Saver design this April.
All eight vessels from the series will be chartered to Yang Ming.
YM Wellness (IMO number 9704623 and MMSI 477737600) is registered in Hong Kong. Its DWT is 150,000 t.
