The United Kingdom’s South Hook liquefied natural gas terminal is scheduled to receive a cargo of LNG from Qatar next week.
One of the largest LNG carriers in the world, the 266,000 cbm Shagra, is scheduled to dock at the terminal’s jetty on May 13, the port authority’s data reveals.

The vessel was built by the South Korean shipbuilder Samsung Heavy Industries for Nakilat in 2009 and chartered to Qatargas.
The South Hook terminal located on the shores of the Milford Haven waterway is owned by Qatar Petroleum, ExxonMobil and Total.
The terminal can process 15.6 million tonnes of LNG a year and is capable of delivering 21 billion cubic metres of gas a year into the UK’s national transmission system.
