FESCO vessels have started annual transportation of cargoes to the Far North under the Northern Supply Haul.

FESCO fleet began supplying of goods to northern Russia

FESCO ice-class vessels are to deliver vital goods to Northern Territories of Russia – the ports of Chukotka and Kamchatka Krai. During the summer navigation, most of the FESCO vessels work on the NSR, they are: the diesel-electric ship “Vasiliy Golovnin”, the timber ship “Abakan”, the general cargo ships “FESCO Pioner” and “FESCO Pevek”, and also self-propelled barges for unloading to the unequipped coast. At 2017 FESCO fleet transported 21 000 tons of cargo: food products, fuel, motor vehicles, consumer goods, construction materials, consumer goods.

Since June, 1 a seasonal container shipping service "FESCO Anadyr Direct Line" has been opened. FADL provide transportation of goods under the Northern Supply Haul on the route Vladivostok - Anadyr - Egvekinot – Vladivostok by the container vessel "Kapitan Krems" and bulk-carrier “FESCO Posyet” since June till October.

In addition, regular sea container services "FESCO Magadan Line", "FESCO Petropavlovsk-Kamchatskiy Line" and "FESCO Korsakov Direct Line" operate in the Russian Far East and transport any cargo in dry, refrigerated SOS and SOC containers to the Far Eastern ports of Magadan, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky and Korsakov.
