Container ship XETHA BHUM crashed into the embankment on Chao Praya river, Bangkok, on Sunday (Feb 14), while leaving Bangkok port.

According to police, the vessel lost control due to strong water turbulences, caused by violent current. There are no reports for injured people. According to AIS, vessel resumed voyage to Singapore.

XETHA BHUM is 15302-dwt containership with capacity 938 TEUs, built in 1993 and sailing under the flag of Singapore. The ship is managed by RCL Feeder PTE Ltd., Singapore.
