Shell want to sell Geelong and this could 'expose' Australia

Shell Geelong is a major hydrocarbon refinery in Australia. It is a work are of employees and contractors. The company contribute a lot to the community with social investment projects and donations. This refinery gives 50% of Victoria's fuel and 30% of South Australia's fuel.
The supply of fuel for Australia could be put in danger if Geelong refinery is sold according to experts in the industry. Shell wants to sell it with the idea to keeping it open but with the possibility of transforming it to fuel import terminal if a buyer is not found by the end of next year.
NRMA director Graham Blight informed that the political insecure situation and the supply routes could endanger Australia's fuel supply. He finished adding: "If our supplies stop I can assure you this country is in trouble".
