This agreement includes GTT on-site technical assistance for inspection, maintenance and repairs, provision of TAMITM (Thermal Assessment of Membrane Integrity) tests, GTT support in training and workshops with Chevron crews and superintendents, as well as access to the HEARS® hotline.

HEARS® is an emergency hotline which enables ship-owners and their crews to contact GTT’s experts 24 hours a day seven days a week to respond to operational queries. HEARS® experts are ready to provide operational solutions under different operating and emergency scenarios, using the extensive and continuously updated GTT vessel database.

“We are pleased to have the opportunity to support Chevron’s LNG shipping operations. To assure the performance of our clients’ LNGCs over time, we strive to anticipate their new requirements. As each vessel is unique, GTT provides bespoke solutions, making specific preparation for each LNGC,” commented Philippe Berterottière, Chairman and CEO of GTT.

For several years, GTT has enlarged its range of services to support the operations of LNGCs, FLNGs, FSRUs and other LNG-related structures in order to shorten dry-dock time, assist crews and assure operational efficiency, and is now accelerating its “Smart shipping” solutions development with the recent acquisition of Ascenz.
