Seafarers Released By Pirates

Some days ago it was announced by the operators(Shipmanagers Leonhardt & Blumberg) of the container vessel "HANSA MARBURG" that hostages taken from the ship by pirates 130 miles south west of Malabo, Equatorial Guinea have been freed.
The vessel was attacked by pirates in the Gulf of Guinea on April 22 and 4 people were kidnapped. There were Ukrainian, Russian and Kiribati citizens and they were released after a month.

“We also wishes to extend its appreciation to the governments, government agencies and all those who assisted in bringing this difficult situation to a close."
The company will not reveal more information about the case because is trying to avoid more criminal acts.
