Tankship and Bulk Carrier Collide off Galveston

There is information from the US Coast Guard for a collision between a tankship and a bulk ship 30 miles off Galveston. No injuries, no pollution from the ships despite the fact that both "Profit" and "Imperial Spirit" are damaged.
The accident occurred at 5:50 a.m. according to Coast Guard Marine Safety Unit Texas City. "Profit" is 900-foot tankship, loaded with 19 million gallons of crude oil and "Imperial Spirit", 625-foot Motor Vessel loaded with grain. A helicopter (Coast Guard Air Station Houston) was sent to make an assessment for pollution and initial damage.
At the location of the accident was sent also Coast Guard Cutter Skipjack, marine inspectors and marine casualty investigators to investigate the case.
