Denmark Signs Maritime Cooperation Agreement with Brazil

Denmark and Brazil signed a cooperation agreement in the field of maritime training and education, 3 days ago. The General Director of Danish Maritime Authority, Andreas Nordseth announced:
" am very satisfied with the agreement, which strengthens cooperation between Denmark and Brazil. We have much to learn from each other and I am convinced that the agreement will be of benefit to the students and the maritime cluster in both countries."

This initiative of the Danish Government is aimed toward the Plan for Growth in the Blue Denmark to produce highly educated people for the Danish companies. The agreement will make possible the exchange of students and teachers. The agreement is a good start for further cooperation. Brazil becomes important market for Danish shipping.

Denmark is trying to attract the most intelligent students and employees.
Mr  Nordseth informs: "The agreement with Brazil strengthens the international outlook of the international maritime education and training programmes and may thus contribute to Denmark’s availability of highly educated labour with an international understanding, experiences and networks."
