Spanish state-owned shipbuilder Navantia recently launched Monte Urquiola, the third Suezmax oil tanker being built for the Ibaizabal Group.
The tanker has a displacement of 164,200 tonnes, a length of 274 metres, a width of 48 metres, a height of 23.7 metres, a crew of 36, a range of 19,000 nautical miles, and a load capacity of 175,000 cubic metres of oil divided into 12 cargo tanks and 2 slops.
A 14,275kW six-cylinder, two-stroke engine will deliver a speed of 15.5 knots in full load condition.
