'K' Line creates subsidiary in Japan to provide ro-ro services

"K" LINE Roro Services Ltd is about to launch its services on October 1, 2013. The new company will be part of  "K" Line group and its business plan will be to sell and market ro-ro cargo, including construction and agricultural machinery, static cargo, used cars and construction gear.
There was a company that used to do all that work - "K" Line's Car Carrier Business Group', but with the new company for ro-ro services new offices will be opened in Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka and Hiroshima.
The role of this expansion is to make the customer base for the transportation of the cargo and enhancing sales activities.

In a statement the company informed:
"We recently see more and more diversification of cargo mix being loaded, or susceptible for loading, into our car carriers. The new company, composed of a group of specialists in the handling of this above-designated cargo, will promote its activities through communication with present and potential customers, analyzing their needs and offering reasonable and personalized solutions, and will also provide them with reliable, well-established, service utilizing the extensive fleet of car carriers operated worldwide by Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha, Ltd".

"K" Line is a Pioneer in Maritime Transportation business of cars. The company is spesialized in operating car carriers. In the past, in 1970 Toyota Maru No. 10 became Japan's first car carrier, so-called PCC (Pure Car Carrier).
The company is not sitting in one place but make efforts to upgrade the quality of its services.
