The 1st Triple-E class vessel and world's biggest ship port call in Gdansk, Poland not only gave a wider public the chance to see largest ship in the world, it was above all a great chance for the company of Maersk Line to interact with its clients.

When the Maersk Mc-Kinney Moller arrived in Gdansk, Poland on August 21st, thousands of people were there to welcome the world's biggest ship for its 1st call. But for the customers that attended, the EEE-class vessel is more than just the world’s largest ship.

While duly taken with the world's biggest ship Maersk Mc-Kinney Moller and the event, “the really impressive part of this event,” told Mr. Kim from Samsung Poland, “is that the Maersk Line top management is prone to hear our voice as client. They do care about the problems we have and try to learn customer’s point of view.”

Mr. Kim was invited for a beach event with a first glimpse of the world's biggest ship as one of hundreds of customers. “Welcoming the largest ship in the world was a unique experience,” stated Mira Roszkiewicz, Logistics Import Manager at Castorama in Poland, adding also that “Triple-E is economy with poetry.” Maria Lorinczova, Sea Department Manager at Kuehne+Nagel in Slovakia also reflects that the event was definitely “a thing to remember,” while Tomas Bartovic, Sea Cargo Export Manager at Cargo-Partner in Slovakia praises the networking opportunity at the event allowing many business discussions in a friendly environment.

Currently, Maersk Mc-Kinney Moller is en route to Port Said, expected to arrive on September 13.
