Norwegian independent oil and gas company Aker BP contracted Eidesvik’s LNG-fueled platform supply vessel Viking Lady.
The deal was signed under the three-year frame agreement Aker BP signed with Eidesvik Offshore, Simon Møkster Shipping and Solstad Offshore for the supply of PSVs.
The duration of the frame agreements is initially for three years, with the option of two additional periods of two years each.
Eidesvik said in its statement the firm contract duration is for 12 months with immediate commencement. The contract may be extended beyond the fixed period.
The Viking Lady is an LNG-fueled PSV was built in 2009 by the Westcon Yard, Ølensvåg, Norway.
