Ukraine will construct an €846 mil. ($1.13 billion) liquefied natural gas terminal at the port of Yuzhnyi.
More than 70% of the money for building it will come from borrowing, €513 million will be raised by bond issues or from a loan.
The government will give the power to a managing company to build it with a private investor within 2 months. The investment from the Ukrainian government will be 55 million euros.
The terminal has to be finished in 2 steps, and capacity will double to ten billion cubic meters by 2018 from a expected five billion cubic meters in 2016.
Another €113 million is needed to construct a pipeline link to carry the fuel from the terminal to consumers.
