Fire on the ship BRITANNIA SEAWAYS, 32 crew members in trap

A fire on the cargo ship BRITANNIA SEAWAYS was reported by the Norway's rescue service, there are 32 people aboard (see current position). The rescue operation is impossible because of the bad weather in the North Sea, it is known that the crew members are safe for the moment and no injuries were reported.

BRITANNIA SEAWAYS has 20 crew and 12 military personnel and they are doing everything possible to extinguish the fire which is not spreading and according to reports has started at the night of November 16, in a container on the upper deck. 

The cargo ship BRITANNIA SEAWAYS is accompanied  by rescue vessels (PSV tugs, Stril Polar, Normand Arctic, HELGE INGSTAD - military vessel) and helicopters. The ship is transporting armored vehicles and other military equipment. The vessel is sailing in a reduced speed and according to the AIS data is running around in circles as you can see from the video and the picture below.
