7 Rescued, 3 Dead, 2 Missing after vessel Capsized off West Palm Beach, Florida

Seven people were rescued, three found dead and two are still missing after a center console  boat capsized on 6th of February. Capsized vessel was lifted aboard the Royal Netherlands Navy Zeeland approximately 130 km. in north-east direction of West Palm Beach, Florida.

A search and rescue operation is currently being conducted by the HC-130 aircrew and USCG Cutter Etheridge to find the missing two crew members of the capsized vessel.

The Royal Netherlands Navy Zeeland reported the watchstanders of the Seventh District USCG command center for a capsized 24-foor center console ship with 7 suspected migrants aboard. To the scene of the accident were immediately dispatched the HC-130 aircrew and USCG Cutter Etheridge to investigate the situation.

The USCG Cutter Etheridge is a 154-foot Fast Response Cutter vessel stationed in Miami. The HC-130 aircrew is homeported at USCG Air Station Clearwater in Florida, US.
