High Alert for Carnival Magic Cruise Ship

By Cruise

A tweet sent out by a bogus twitter user which meant to parody a diet expert from Tennessee causes fears of a possible bio-attack aboard a Carnival cruise liner over this weekend.
The message has been posted by a twitter user account set up to mock Nashville’s diet neurosurgeon, Jack Kruse, and which has been sent by the alias “@shitkrusesays”. The users true owner probably started the user account to poke fun at the dietician but when the user account sent out an alarming tweet that read:
“Security has confiscated dynamite. Talk will not be as explosive as at PaleoFx. Still have vial of Legionnaires for epic biohack”
Unfortunately for Kruse at that time, he was reserved to depart on the Carnival Magic cruise liner out of Galveston, Texas on Sunday and it was scheduled to talk at Jimmy Moore’s 5th Annual Low-Carb Cruise Liner event to be held on the ship.
When Carnival company has learned of the tweet, they have alerted the authorities that have sent FBI and Coast Guard agents to the vessel to investigate. According to media statements, the agents searched Kruse and his belongings and a long questioning session about the tweet concerned Kruse to miss the ship scheduled departure.
At the end, authorities have found no reason to hold Kruse after determining that the tweet was not at all associated with him or his team.
“To make some fun about something like this is not very good thing to do. Not only it is unprofessional and unethical, it’s very dangerous these days,” Kruse said the media of the accident and added that he understood the reasoning for the alarm.
In a speach, Carnival Cruise’s said the need to follow up with every threat and offered Dr. Kruse the option of flying to the vessel's next port of call and re-join the voyage at no charge.
The twitter user account which sent that message has since been disabled.
