A video posted on YouTube by Lindblad Expeditions-National Geographic (filmed by Jim Napoli) welcomes you aboard Pierre Radisson, a Canadian icebreaker, while she sails with National Geographic Explorer to Fury and Hecla Straits.

Pierre Radisson (IMO number 7510834 and MMSI 316071000) is a T1200 Class Medium Arctic and Gulf icebreaker, part of the Canadian Coast Guard (CCG) fleet. The homeport of the 98-metre vessel is the CCG Base in Quebec City (the mouth of the St Lawrence River in the Gulf of St. Lawrence).

Having been built by Burrard Dry Dock, she was launched in 1978. The crew on board comprises 12 officers and 26 sailors.
