M/V Matanuska Ferry Crashes in Alaska [INCIDENT VIDEO]

By Accidents

You can see the VIDEO taken from the board of Matanuska ferry crashing into the Ocean Beauty Seafood dockand processing plant in Petersburg, Alaska on May 7.
The woman with the camera did not record the impact on film, but she has provided some interesting commentary and she has also succeded to record the ferry backing off, revealing the damages to the dock and building.
Fortunately there are no wounded people onboard or on land, what is very lucky considering the 3,029gt ferry nearly perfectly t-boned a 2nd story office and fish processing plant at nearly 1 pm on a Monday. The M/V Matanuska experienced only minor damages and has returned to service so soon thereafter.
The 408-foot Matanuska is one of eleven ships in the Alaska State Ferry system. It has had 60 passengers on its board at the time.
