MacGregor has secured a substantial contract to provide comprehensive RoRo equipment packages for two dual-fuel LNG Pure Car and Truck Carrier (PCTC) vessels.
These vessels will be constructed by Fujian Mawei Shipbuilding Ltd. for Sallaum Lines, a company which specializes in global RoRo cargo shipping, and these two newly ordered vessels will be the its very first newbuildings.
The order was recorded in Cargotec's first-quarter 2023 orders received and are scheduled for delivery to the shipowner from Q4 2024 to Q2 2026.
MacGregor will handle the design, supply, and installation support for the RoRo and car deck equipment, which will consist of electrically operated internal and external ramps, liftable car decks, covers, and doors for the new vehicles carriers.
