AD Ports Group has recently announced the launch of a new weekly shipping service that aims to enhance commercial and logistic connectivity, as well as facilitate trade with Qatar and Kuwait.
This new service will involve the transportation of cargo via container vessels between the UAE's Khalifa Port, Qatar's Hamad Port, and Kuwait's Port of Shuwaikh and/or Port of Shuaiba.
Moreover, to make the shipping service more convenient for customers, AD Ports Group will also provide them with a digital appointment booking system through the Advanced Trade & Logistics Platform (ATLP). This platform is developed and operated by Maqta Gateway, the digital arm of AD Ports Group, under the supervision of the Department of Economic Development - Abu Dhabi.
As part of AD Ports Group's ongoing efforts to promote excellence and leadership in the maritime and logistic services, a new shipping service dedicated to Ro-Ro has also been established between Khalifa Port and Shuwaikh Port.
These initiatives aim to enhance commercial connectivity, facilitate trade movement in the region, and reinforce Khalifa Port's position as a strategic hub in the maritime industry.
Additionally, during the month of Ramadan, the shipping service will be free for cargo arriving via land transport.
