Drug Traffickers Arrested by the Navy of Columbia

Both the navy and police forces of Columbia have confiscated 20 kilograms of marijuana and 193 kilograms of cocaine concealed in freight holds of Clara E.- a general cargo vessel registered in Panama.

The Coast Guard Station Barranquilla authorities have retained in custody and approached the ship while she has come into dock at Las Flores, at the place where the Magdalena river enters the sea.

The 533-DWT vessel, which was built back in 1958, was travelling from Barranquilla to San Andrés. A total of six Colombians and a Nicaraguan have been encountered on board the ship during the investigation and have been captured and will be accused of drug trafficking.
