American Airlines taps L.A.- Heathrow London for new 777-300ER

American Airlines told in a statement that Los Angeles - London Heathrow is going to be the next route to be flying by its highly expected Boeing 777-300ER.
The service is going to start in the summer of 2013. American Airlines had earlier stated that people traveling among Dallas/Fort Worth and Sao Paulo are going to be the 1st to fly the new airplane in December. In February 2013, the airplane is going to fly to the airport Heathrow in London from both Dallas/Fort Worth and New York's JFK.
"We are happy to bring the Boeing 777-300ER to more of our key markets, which gives our clients traveling among Los Angeles and London the chance to try the industry-leading conveniences this amazing airplane has to offer," told the American's CEO, Virasb Vahidi, in a press statement. "Our Los Angeles clients are going to be between the 1st to have the opportunity to experience the state-of-the-art travel experience with totally new cabin interiors, more in-flight entertainment options and feel comfortable in every cabin."
American Airlines is going to be the 1st U.S. carrier to acquire possession of the 300ER version of the 777. It is expecting to take delivery of 10 Boeing 777-300ERs starting in December 2012.
The new airplane is going to have 3 different classes. The most desired 1st and business class are going to have fully lie-flat seats with direct aisle access. A walk-up bar in the third class - premium cabin is going to be secured with snacks and refreshments, that American Airlines company calls the 1st for any U.S. airline.
The entertainment options is going to consist up to 120 short films, over 150 TV channels and more than three hundred fifty audio selections. Each seat is going to feature individual 110-volt AC power outlets and USB jacks for the people those need to charge their personal electronic devices. In-flight Wi-Fi is also going to be available.
The new route from Los Angeles to Heathrow, London service is begining on June 1, 2013.
