Hyundai Heavy Industries has delivered the 14,000-TEU containership YM Witness to Seaspan Corporation. The vessel is the fourth 14,000 TEU SAVER one.
The new delivery is the fifth taken this year and expand the fleet of the company to 82 with average age of approximately seven years.
In line with the company strategy, to offer long-term leases on large, modern containerships , YM Witness will be chartered for ten years to Yang Ming Marine Transport Corp with an option for extension of two years.
