United Airlines informed that more than 200 people have been stranded for 3 days in Shanghai in a delay that began with an aircraft technical breakdown.
The passengers had to leave on Wednesday for Newark, N.J. The airline company announced that the plane Boeing 777 had some technical difficulties so the flight was canceled. The plane had to be repaired but took some time.
Spokesman of United Airlines mr. Johnson told that the plane was repaired by Friday, but a boarding issue stopped the flight. This flight was canceled too, because of safety issues.
Staying in hotels was the only one possibility for the passengers. The airline gives $1000 refunds.
