Ran Aground near of Cebu - Passengers and Crew Saved

All passengers and crew have been saved after a vessel heading for Cebu ran aground near a Cebu pier Saturday night.
The Philippine Coast Guard stated the accident involving the MV Ocean Jet 6 occurred at about 8 p.m., radio dzBB's Paulo Santos informed.
The spokesman of the Philippines Coast Guard, Lt. Cmdr. Armand Balilo was quoted in the statement as telling the vessel was ferrying 197 passengers from Bohol when it ran aground.
Upon learning of the accident, the Coast Guard of the Philippines sent the BRP Davao del Norte to save the stranded passengers.
All passengers have been accounted for by 11 p.m. Saturday, the information says.
