Inmarsat awarded contract with Malaysian shipping giant MISC to outfit forty-six vessels with XpressLink SatCom systems.
The XpressLink system from Inmarsat is a completely integrated and managed combination of VSAT and market-leading FleetBroadband(TM) providing limitless data availability through the world's oceans. It is including an option for MISC Berhad to increase two times its accessible bandwidth at a pre-determined monthly rate when Inmarsat's Global Xpress(R) constellation becomes commercially accessible from 2014.
