The Association of British Travel Agents (ABTA) states most holidays to the Canary Islands and Spain are going to be unaffected by the wildfires.
Sean Tipton, who is the spokesperson for the ABTA, told in a statement that wildfires which is causing havoc in the internal area of Tenerife were "very unlikely" to damage costal resorts where many of thousands of Britons holiday every year.
He also advised people with holidays scheduled to the Canary Islands to follow the situation with their tour operator, or the foreign office if travelling independently.
Minimum 5,000 people have been evacuated since Sunday when wildfires had spread in the islands of La Gomera and Tenerife.
Local officials are blamed a heatwave, strong winds and low humidity for hindering attempts to contain the fire.
