Ferry runs aground in Boston Harbor; all people onboard safe

Coast Guard rescue all people onboard from a ferry that ran aground on Nixes Mate, in Boston's outer harbor 2 days ago.
Watchstanders from Sector Boston were alerted via VHF channel 16 at near 8:50 a.m. that the ferry Provincetown III had run aground with 149 people onboard and one dog.
Sector Boston sent 2 45-foot response boats medium's. Station Point Allerton sent a small 25-foot response boat. The Coast Guard Cutter Flyingfish was diverted. Quincy Police Department, Boston Police Department, Boston Fire Department, Weymouth Harbor Master, Massachusetts State Police, Sea Tow Boston, City Water Taxi, and the Ferry Provincetown II were also there to help all the people in danger.
Coast Guard Station Boston's 2 45-foot response boat medium's, Quincy Police department boats, and Boston Police Department boats helped the passengers.
For 1 hour and 30 minutes all passengers were safely evacuated.
There will be investigations why this happened.
