MV Princess Danae cruise ship detained in Dublin port by the High Court.
The reason for the arrest of the cruise vessel is unpaid fuel bill of US$94, 000 (€75, 000).
The vessel is with registration in Madeira and has flag of Portugal.
The arrest order was sought by Italian registered company Omega Bunker SRL, who made a deal with the vessel owners Waybell Cruises Inc, with a registered address at Panama City, Panama, to supply the vessel with fuel in the Port of Manila the Philippines last April.
The owners had to pay $409,000 (€325,000). Ciaran Lewis Bl, for Omega, did say the court that this agreement was not respected by the ship's owners.
The Judge explained that in light of the evidence present to the court he was ready to grant orders detaining the vessel.
