8 seamen rescued, 2 are still missing from Russian shipwreck

There are 8 seamen that have been rescued while 2 are still missing from a refrigerator vessel which sank Sunday in the Okhotsk Sea in Russia's far east, the emergencies ministry informed.
The PTR-WEST vessel went down around 1.15 p.m., 8 km from the coast. It was informed that the crew members of 8 had all been evacuated the vessel in 2 life rafts so far.
"8 seamen were picked up from a raft to the rescue vessel MRS-046. The fate of 2 of the crew is unknown," the ministry also stated.
It is said the rescue vessel was heading for a 2nd raft, and a search action was underway for the missing crew members.
