Three people hurt in platform accident in U.S. Gulf

An accident with fire on a platform owned by W&T Offshore Inc injured 3 people.
The platform is located 40 miles offshore New Orleans and the fire was extinguished. The reason why the fire started is not known.
No one from the company W&T Offshore said anything about the accident. This firm is an independent oil and natural gas acquisition for exploitation and exploration.
There is information from the U.S. Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement that an oil sheen measuring 600 yards by half-mile.
It is told that the accident was not serious and everything is under control now.
Representative of the company informed that the problem occurred on an oil-processing platform, not a drilling rig.
