Iran navy capable to defend Indian Ocean against pirate attacks

Iran's Navy Commander Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari informed that Iran can defend the sea against pirates and to ensure safe sailing of the vessels in the Indian Ocean.
Iran continue to make their presence in international waters more serious. The country is deploying more and more ships in the Indian Ocean, also sent 2 ships via the Suez Canal to the Mediterranean.
The international tries to fight piracy is helped by the Iranian Navy by patrolling the Gulf of Aden and ensuring safety in the maritime trade in the region.
The Gulf of Aden is connected with the Indian Ocean, Suez Canal and the Mediterranean Sea. This is the route for many, many ships sailing every day between Asia, Europe, and the Americas.

Sayyari said more that whole world is now threatening Iran but no one has the courage to put the threats into action because they know that an attack on the Islamic Republic would with no result.
