Iraq, Kuwait and US conduct exercise together

By Curious

The Iraqi Navy, Kuwaiti Coast Guard and U.S. Coast Guard have conducted an exercise for the first time in 7 years.
All the activity was concentrated in search, rescue and defensive maneuvers.
U.S. Coast Guard used a small boat for moving moving crew members from Iraqi Swift boat and Kuwaiti Coast Guard Patrol.
Helicopters were involved too. A Kuwaiti machine and a patrol craft joined the exercise.
All are happy of this partnership and hope that there will be in future other security exercises.
The exercise took place in the Arabian Gulf.
For the first time from a year an U.S. naval warship had entered Iraqi territorial waters.
