Australian icebreaker in trouble near Antarctica

By Accidents

50 scientist gathered from different countries are onboard of the Australian icebreaker Aurora Australis stuck in the ice.
The mission of the ship is to examine the connection between sea ice and marine life.
The vessel is in the same place already for 2 days, 200 nautical miles from Casey Station and 1600NM from Hobart.
The heavy ice is normal for this area but stopped the ship from moving and advancing to its final goal - Antartica. The vessel is surrounded with thick ice. The people onboard are waiting for better wheather conditions to come and to break the trap of ice.
Scientists do not stop their expedition but use helicopters to work.
