The last nuclear-powered container vessel in the world for scrapyard

By Vessels

There is only one nuclear-powered container vessel in the world – the Murmansk-based 'Sevmorput'. This ship apparently has no future.
For many years this ship is not used for anything, it is located in the Atomflot base outside Murmansk. Even the ship's record in the Russian Ship Register is deleted. 'Sevmorput' will be turned into scrap.
The nuclear-powered vessel in the 1990s was banned from many ports. The usual route for 'Sevmorput' was between Murmansk and Dudinka(Yenisey River).
Years later in 2007 there were plans this ship to be reconstructed into an oil drilling vessel.
