NATO plans to fight the pirates near the coast

By Piracy

Last week NATO's ships and task force against pirates visited regional mariners.
Teams from NHLMS Rotterdam, HDMS Iver Huifeldt and USS Halyburton met in order to exchange information and experience.
Pirate attacks have been reduced considerably last months. The reason for this are the naval patrols, armed guards onboard the ships and new defence systems against pirates.
Next step against the armed sea gangs is to go near the Somali coast and to prevent pirate attacks.
It is difficult for the pirates now to be undetected at sea for a long period. Getting closer to the shore will make the region more safe.
Security is important for all the people, fishermen, traders, locals.
The main goal now is to make difficult for the pirates to go to open sea undetected.
