Container ship Hanjin Geneva runs aground off the Prince Rupert Harbour

Almost 280-metre long container vessel had bad time arriving in Canada after running aground at the mouth of the channel in the way to Prince Rupert Harbour on B.C.’s north coast.
The Hanjin Geneva was trying to avoid a fishing vessel, as it entered the harbour at night.
A man from Port Authorities informed that the Hanjin Geneva suffered a damage, but all crew members are safe and no one is injured.
9 hours after the accident the enormous container ship was lifted off the bottom after it run aground.
Tugs were with the ship when entered the port and inspection started.
Hanjin Geneva is registered in Germany and was traveling from Shanghai and tried to avoid a fishing boat near small Coast Island.
