High-speed Ferry Hits Beacon: 26 people Injured

A ferry sailing from Macau to Hong Kong hit a marker beacon when exiting Macau Outer Harbour entrance channel. The reason for the incident was poor visibility.
The boat had 177 people and eight crew members on board when the hit occurred. The ferry suffered minor structural damage. 26 of the people onboard (children and adults) were had been injured and were sent to a hospital for a treatment.
Ferry services from Macau had to be stopped for an hour.
