By Accidents

Oil tanker Pratibha Tapi has been stuck off the Mumbai port from more than 2 months including its with 29 seamen onboard. The health condition of the seamen has turned very bad because they have neither food nor fresh water to drink. Some of the them have fallen sick as they have been stuck for almost 3 months.
The captain of the oil tanker is also trapped together with his family. But till now neither the government nor the shipping firm has reacted to save the seamen and the vessel. These employees aren't able to get off the vessel because Mumbai port authorities aren't letting them do so.
The vessel is stranded nearly 4 n.m. off the Mumbai port. The condition of the employees is now becoming worse day by day because of the shortage of food and fuel.
Actually, the shipping firm hasn't finished immigration formalities that are mandatory if the seamen are to get off at the port. There is also information that the shipping company might have gone bankrupt.
The vessel came from Gujarat in October to the Mumbai port, carrying oil that the ship off loaded at the port. Later, Pratibha Shipping Company stated the vessel crew members to take the ship outside the port. Since 18th of October, 2012 the vessel has been stranded and there has been no instruction from the shipping company.
