4 AHTS Asso Ventuno officers released by pirates

Officer are safe and will go home.
Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced today today that the 4 missing officers of the Italian AHTS Asso Ventuno were freed by the Nigerian pirates.
There is no additional information for the release but a ransom was not paid. The four people are safe and in good health.
In December 23, 7 armed people attacked a moving ship, 40 nautical miles off the coast of Bayelsa state in the Niger Delta. According to information by International Maritime Bureau.
West Africa's Gulf of Guinea became a region with regularly pirate attacks. For 18 months piracy escalated quickly. The war and the anarchy in the gave a chance for piracy to grow.
